Geez guys... for people who love NY, you gotta show some more love to the other people on here who also love NY are here to discuss NY and or are trying to get there in one way or another....
Just venting some observations after seeing other people's posts and being on here myself and never getting any responses???
Dudes,
where is the LOVE?
Anyway,
what i'm here for:
I'm actually finally going to be on my way to NY on the 4th of July....
if all goes well, I will finally have begun my way too long of a history to write about here, venture/plan to move to NY...
Anyway-
seeing as that I'm arriving on the 4th.. and pretty hell bent on making sure I get to catch at least a little bit of the action that night...
I'd be more than happy to just find out about some cool spots, places, tips, suggestions as to how and where to go to check out some of the magic of the city that night?
i.e. fireworks shows, spots and or easy access destinations that would make the evening worthwhile?
Granted I'll be flying in -travelling all day, running from the airport (all the way in Newark for x's sake too...) and then all the way to Brooklyn.. just to then still try to make it out the door to be able to be somewhere to catch something cool, beautiful, magical and celebratory, since I know you all do the 4th over there in style....
Looking forward to it, as it will be my first,
so please, any cool suggestions and or tips, especially for non-local 'dummies' but thoroughly in love with the city (just as i'm sure most of you were at some point too...)
would be welcome... send em over my way,
cool,
thanks-
peace! :)
